Past Award Presentations

Lesley Garrett Yorkshire Opera Singer and television personality Lesley Garrett, CBE, brought a touch of glamour to the Award Ceremony in Sheffield on Tuesday March 18th. Lesley was joined by the Lord Mayor,of Sheffield, Councillor Arthur Dunworth in presenting the Awards at the Cutlers' Hall in Sheffield.

An audience of more than 350 people attended the event of which over 100 of these were young people collecting their Awards. The evening concluded with Lesley paying tribute to the young people who had achieved their Awards. She then proceeded to sing 'Climb Every Mountain' which was awe inspiring!

Lesley posed for photos and signed autographs for the young people. Her contribution to the evening was special and memorable for all who attended.

The photo shows Lesley Garrett with Gold Award holders from left to right: David Whittaker, Saramay Le Page, Kara Wilson, Mohsin Mohammed.
